Tim is a Venture Partner at Digital Garage, and the CEO & Founder of Media Mobilize, a media company and online ad network. Media Mobilize’s 100+ partners include GQ, Wired, Glamour, Allure, The Los Angeles Times and Seattle Times. Previously, Tim conducted business development at Pocket (acquired by Mozilla). Tim’s investments include Workflow (acquired by Apple), Oh My Green, Morning Brew, Girls Night In, Bright Cellars, and The Hustle.

Tim Hsia is a distinguished honor graduate of West Point where he double majored in Environmental Engineering and Military History, and commissioned as an infantry officer in the US Army. Tim deployed twice to Iraq and earned a Bronze star medal. Tim left active duty in 2010 to attend Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and Law School graduating with a JD and MBA in 2014. Tim is a board member at two nonprofits: Service to School and the Marine’s Memorial Association of San Francisco. Tim has published essays in Armed Forces Journal, Proceedings, Infantry Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, and The New York Times. Tim is a Council on Foreign Relations Term Member.
